Moth’s Wings

Brassaï (1899 – 1984).

Occasionally, I pop to the art school library and take a photography book out at random. This one was particularly lovely, it was called ‘Brassai: The Eye of Paris’.

I found this in an old host account. I didn’t take it.

Lazy Sunday

I’ll let you into a little secret. I accidentally exposed this very first film taken in my new Pentax as I took it out to get developed last week. That is partially why there are very little photographs to show you and why the picture of me has been half burned away.

The last one was taken on the morning of my birthday. I hate it. It looks smug. Both were taken by Steven. There’s going to be a lot of good stuff in a few days, hopefully.

Re-Hash

I love the BBC advert for the coverage of the Winter Olympics. Me and Steven thought it was a Gorillaz-esque Hewlett and Albarn creation like the summer Olympics one last year two years ago, but apparently it was directed by Marc Craste. There is another cool short film from him below.

Black Tongue

January 26, 2010

I have a new camera purchase so there will be many photographs coming soon, not least from last weekend and the coming weekend as Birthday bonanzas occur. For the meantime however, enjoy soon beautiful images from one of my Christmas presents, ‘I Hope You Are All Happy Now‘, a collection of images from the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s Nick Zinner.

With this you will regret,
Just let it be your yeah yeah yeah.
